Checkin in on my blog which I pay, but do not use. I have been dying to make an entry for the longest time. To unload my brain a bit. I am tired as of this moment. I lack direction. I have been under a depression. My pc was busted again, the new one. same as last time, it just died. can’t power up although there’s a green light inside. I am tired of thing malfunctioning, life not functioning and me dysfunctional.

I am worn out. I am so sorry if I haven’t replied to friends, families and relatives. I lost sight of things i should do.

I do stuff, but out of balance. I am productive in what I do, but not productive in life’s perspective.

I just finished a way compulsive system in organizing my stuff through acdsee and then after that the computer got busted which is so typical. So now I found something else to obsess over. Making a website. I am on information overload with this one. I slept a big fraction of a day after not sleeping a big fraction of a day learning. I love learning and making this website got me learning a whole lot of stuff (will compile that later on this post for my own sake).

-That first part was when I started the draft the other day. Now the mood is a bit different, although still not in that bliss moment. I am little by little pulling myself up with the help of higher forces and support from loved ones.

Let’s go on shall we…

:::Shopping:::

Excited about some new purchases.

Got my Crumpler bag. Ooh wee. Just love these darlings. I was going to delay this buy, but after our trip came up (yes I am going somewhere. more about that later), I had to buy a photo bag that isn’t too big. Still has room for the slr, accesories and perhaps a lens extra. And a bag that wasn’t too obvious as a camera bag for those escapades in not so fully safe surroundings.We already have the Lowepro stealth reporter 200 AW, but now we found out that we don’t usually use more than 2 lens at a time or session.

We looked at japan photo where I saw some of them hanging last we bought the 500 mm lens there. They had one nice size, Crumpler Ben’s pizza xl, but I felt that although small, it seemed a little bulky. I want to avoid bulkiness this time. I don’t need a bag that also serve as a pedestal for my hands. And the color available was only orange.

There was a nice older man working there who was cripled and he was such a nice person. He saw that we were carefully looking at the lens display and discussing and came to us and just fed us with lots of info and friendly conversations. Taught us about the different type of lens, the uses of tripod, accesoires and flash. Even learnt that our external flash, SB- 800 could be triggered much like those studio set up.

We then headed to the photo video expert place, which was their main competitor. Seems like their store was ravaged from teh xmas spree. The bag department had few choices left. Seems like photo bags was a popular gift. They assured to get more. So we went home empty handed.

Checked the web and found out that they had a crumpler store here in Oslo, Norway. Yay!

Bought this Friday. Pretty boy 3000 (L). Nice thing about Crumpler is that for each style, they offer different size and colors.

The inside is like the picture below, but I think the picture below is one model bigger (xl) and color is different, since ours, if the house is put on the side, only our short lens, 50 mm, would fit.

Love the orange and white (they had to order for that and it’s better with dark colors so it won’t get filthy). I would love to buy one for Bizzi someday since his Sony Ericson w800i has the same colors. Love these other colors too.

This one is not Pretty Boy model, but love the colors.

For practical reason (fits any attire. does not get obviously filthy)

and some day, I plan to have this girly invention of a photo bag

or this

and then I got this phone also on Friday:

Not that fancy. Sony Ericsson k510 i. But what makes me happy is that it’s free. My subscription has ran out and that makes me eligible to buy those cheap offers which requires signing a 12 month commitment. I was going to keep the supscription for the 12 months anyway, but why not make use of the advantage.

I am just so happy to be back to Ericsson which I am familiar with. The model before this was my last own phone till it was lost from me last Philippine trip. Then I was given an excess phone from bro in law. A samsung which I never got used to.

Before I was very cellphone oriented. Wanted the last features in the market, but now, as long as it’s Ericsson or Nokia, it’s ok. Otherwise, I would have drooled over the new Apple phone that everyone is anticipating.

Then I bought something from Mango again. It was sale. At one point, my cart was reaching 10000 kroner till it said that I exceeded the limit. Duh, I donn’t mean to buy them all. I was just going through an elimination process.

I’ve been good. i ended up with just one jacket/coat.

I chose the most practical bit, and even though it’s just a small sign of changed priorities, nevertheless it’s significant enough of for me. Although this was like the 10th jacket I bought this year alone.

Here are the other stuff I liked, but didn’t buy:

and a close up of this jacket

because of this

yes, he wanted it so I could match his. Seems like Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt set up, and look where they ended. lol.

Last buys is this top and skirt. Bought them at the same store although they look like a match, they aren’t made to match. This was a real bargain buy.

Brought to you by King Midas, lol.

This was not bought, but given to me by my sister in laws when they went to Paris. For the lips by estee lauder. The ones below are more shimmery, and the above are more matte. I love the big mirror. Perfect accessory for the bag.

I almost forgot another buy. If you look at the mirror, you’ll see papers and the package for the then newly arrived books from Autumn leaves delivered by Ideabooks4u.com. I got the Designing with Type and The Look Book. Next time I will try books from Elsie and Ali. And I need a new photography book. One about composition and other stuff besides from exposure.

I did some major damages via paypal in shopping digiscraps. I think December is the most spending I have done digiscrapwise.

:::Good News:::

I have to show you these two cuties

This was taken by hubby’s mobile camera, and it’s one of the darling shots of the twin nephew he got for new years day. His brother is now a happy father of one egged twins. I have yet to see and visit them. They are still discussing the name.

Belated news. Since I was so bad at blogging, i never shared my biggest toot. I was Sweet shoppe treat of the month in December.

(can you see aggie in the same page, cool)

The page still exists Here.

:::Creative side:::

And then over to photography. Not much practice and deifnitely not myuch reading. I still have to use more time reading my manual book and my other book about exposures.

Here are some pictures I want to share from within these past few months (some from hubby) and some are enhanced:

The last images with frames are made with the help of actions and tutorials at nobsphotosuccess.com. Wonderful site I discovered through mydigitalmuse.com/blog, courtesy of Holly Mc Caig. Used a bookplate by jen Wilson on one fo the images.

Speaking of enhancements and editing, I also created this thorugh an online tutorial. The link is in my other computer.

:::Been Out:::

I managed to get my butt out. First during new year at Allan’s and Linda’s place. Was there 1 and a half day. Playing around with the hamster and the chihuahua.

and then from friday till sunday, we were at Fredrikstad where mom and dad in law moved. We helped them pack out the stuff. It needed a lot of hands to finish the boxes and boxes of stuff.

That’s progress when it comes to me.

:::Baby charting:::

I started charting. Got a sheet from babycenter.com. I haven’t been good though. I think I’ll do that when we return. Be diligent I mean.

Somehow I fear too that it might stress out in the babymaking area.

:::I am going home:::

How good it feels to say that. Be back in my homeland by Feb. 1. Kinda unplanned and unexpected. It’ll be 4 of us. Boy, do I have a lot fo stuff to do before we leave.

I’ll leave with that for now. I’ll try to get back with a part 2 since I know it’e been a while since last time and there’s stuff I definitely missed this round. I’ll let you digest this oen first.
