I have been opening my blogwriter everyday, without making it that far. I have been so distracted with other cyber matters that are very time consuming Stuff like Kaboodle (more about that later) that just snowballs upon discovery of new sites that leads to discovery of more sites, etc. And since I am so OC, I have to organize it too. It’s like virtual shopping and it also serves as a wishlist and compilation of interesting pages in the web (like fave galleries, recipes and articles). Then I like to stay at Catscrap gallery to comment on each LO, Catscrap CT boards, DST gallery commenting back, DST forum, tweaking images, bloglines and reading phpdigiscrapper forum. I also opened a new proboard forum for the accounting course I am attending as a means to help out those who are a bit behind and promote a more social environment in the class.

:::Babytalk:::

Well, I am still in a slump. I am not improving, but not necessarily constantly diminishing. There are times I pull myself up like sleepwise. I am too much on the computer to abnormal proportions, yet I feel I never get finished.

Btw, the hormone bloodtest result came out from last visit with OB. I do have problem with thyroid, metabolism, but she said that the PCO has disappeared. From the ultrasound last time, she saw that it was barely visible. Thyroid hormone abnormalities can cause miscarriages, and I am thinking it was the cause of mine. I received a very nice pm from DST of one who were in the same situation. She gave me hope, and I am looking forward to get my treatment as she also informed me that it has several other benefits like getting rid of dry skins, and so forth. Hers was discovered after 7 years, so I am fortunate to get my diagnosis at this point and avoid a miscarriage after another, except if there is a another reason for the miscarriages.

I have been having these baby dreams lately. I feel such gladness when I am dreaming about it.

I have to emphasize again that life is so sweet with hubby by my side despite the phase I am going through. I can’t wait to carry his child someday.

:::Photography:::

I haven’t been so much out to indulge in this hobby. The weather has been so nice lately, except these last 2 days, so it’s too bad that I can’t go for a trip and explore. In my Kaboodle list, I have added several camera stuff, and on top of my list is a macro camera. I love a good close up of details.

But I did get a good photoshoot when I decided to join my husband in one of his games. He said that maybe they’ll win and he will score when I will come, but no it didn’t seem to be the case. They lost, but I went home with good action photos. I used the Tamron 55-200.

This went in though. Too bad. Could have been a great save.

My husband on the run.

Domino.

Some of the scenery around. Looks like an American ranch.

Sky is so tricky. I think a polarization filter might help and some more knowledge.

And then this is from another day when a friend dropped by. I liked his expression:

And since I am so fond of tweaking and actions nowadays (plus levels and variations), here are some samples.

We went to a 9 year jubilee of the soccer team and they treated us out. We were in this pizza place with really red lighting and since I really don’t like using flash, my pics came out so red, even with the bluest white balance. Although I managed to salvage them with CS2.

With set 1, I used the variations command and fixed contrast and lighting with levels. B&w conversion is a mix of teyaphoto set2 b&w conversion and NOBS mocha action.

With set 2, I used selective hue and saturation, itty bitty for lighting, and more levels for lighting and contrast, I made a new layer and rotated the picture slightly and then cropped to make a more interesting angle for the picture. I used teyas b&w conversion set2 with adjustable level. Then I used the NOBS competition mount for the frame and made a water mark from this tutorial. Actually, it should say Bizzi photography since he took the picture.

ETA: There is an even better tutorial of watermarking in batches by creating droplets (an exe file you just drop your pictures with to open image ready and run action. The thing with the other tutorial is if you have different sizes on your image. You can find this new one here.

I am wearing the fruits of my Philippine shopping. Top from Zara (which when I tested it, I tested it the wrong way), JLO pants on sale in Rustan’s and shoes from Francesca or whateveritwascalled shoe shop. I am so loving graphic pints nowadays.

I wanted to share some other pics of my friend Arin’s newborn baby. She is sooo cute. I just don’t feel comfortable in posting other people’s children on my blog. Anyway, congrats to my very good friends, Arin and Wisam.

And also my cousin, Thea, gave birth to a healthy baby boy who I heard looks like his big bro. There are some pics of big bro on my non updated photo blog. She lives here in Norway, but decided to give birth there.

You can cast a vote for me here for usd 2.00 and receive a bag of goodies form SBG. Thanks to all the votes I got. The top ten will be announced this weekend, June 2. It’s a tough competition to make it there out of 90 plus contestants, but a girl can hope, right. The top prize is USD 1000 for the winner and 500 to her favorite charity. My charity is Doctors without borders. In their website, 500 USD can help 1500 persons in 3 months.

The 2 runner ups gets a cash prize too and all 10 ill receive 12×12 shutterfly storybooks, and the latter is enough for me to want to get to top 10. Shutterfly book is high on my wishlist. Also for top 10, they will get to be a studio temp, meaning CT for a month with top 7 and more on top 3.

These are 2 other pages I made recently (Click for credits and journaling):

:::Kaboodle:::

Click on slideshow to go to my kaboodle folders

That’s some of my folders in my Kaboodle. It’s really fun and it’s a great way to connect with friends and get alerted with new products besides from blogs and DST forum.

And I haven’t even explored so many sites, and even Mango has some conflicts with kaboodling and Morgan Toi doesn’ have online shop.

I also recently discovered one with my QOTC layout on her purchased stuff. That really made me happy and of course I had to leave a thank you note.

:::Etcetera:::

  • Hubby has a weird spot in his hair that is short. Looks like it’s cut, but we heard it is just worn. It’s not that visible if he has fixed his hair. He considered cutting it, and he was very sad and tense, but in the end, we let it be
  • Talked to mom and sis. I miss them so much and haven’t been in touch with them for a while. Samuel is sick again, but he smiles so much. before he was very serious.
  • I had a bible study at last, although I wasn’t able to attend sunday in the congregation. Kari, who conducts my studies, is so nice. She always follows up on me, despite my lack of texting back. I feel so guilty. She is so understanding. I consider her one of my very good friends.
  • Now that I have blogged, I need to scrap!
  • Course is doing well. We’re starting with computer program Visma for accounting. I need to find a 3 month practicum pretty soon.
